Narrative Text

Essay Text is a written text that aims to explain something. There are 13 types of text included in the Essay Text. But I will explain 3 types of Essay Text that is Narrative Text, Descriptive Text, and Recount Text.

• Narrative Text 

Narrative text is a text that contains an imaginative or fairy tale that aims to entertain the reader and also to convey a moral message. The general structure of this text is:


✿ Orientation     : It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are

✿ Complication : Where the problems in the story developed

✿ Resolution     : Where the problems in the story is solved

Grammatical features of narrative text:

✿ Using simple past tense

✿ Linking verbs

✿ Noun or pronoun
