Recount text is the text to tell about something that happened in the past. The general structure of this text is:

❥ Orientation     : Tells who was involved, what happened, where the events took place, and when it    happened

❥ Events            : Tell what happened and in what sequence

❥ Reorientation : Consists of optional-closure of events/ending
